Before founding Repsense, he worked at Palantir Technologies, leading commercial projects supporting democratic institutions worldwide. He later served as CTO at Pivot Capital Management and co-founded Enipedia, one of the largest open-source databases on global energy infrastructure used by corporations, researchers, and policymakers.
He holds an MSc and BSc in Economics from Stockholm School of Economics and pursued doctoral studies at Delft University of Technology. His academic work spans agent-based modelling, energy systems, and socio-technical analysis, forming the foundation of his approach to complex data environments.
At Repsense, he leads research and modelling, including the development of large-scale analytical frameworks such as the Adler model, designed for high-quality, rapid analysis of public information environments. His work focuses on applying AI and data science to identify narrative dynamics, including disinformation and coordinated influence.
Beyond his technical work, Alfredas Chmieliauskas is an active public voice in Lithuania, frequently contributing to discussions on AI, disinformation, and digital ecosystems across media and public platforms.
